GHTC's fifth annual policy report, Innovation for a changing world: The role of US leadership in global health R&D, provides recommendations that Congress and the Administration can use to leverage the United States' important role in global health R&D.
The recommendations call on Congress to pass a long-term budget plan that will sustain R&D efforts throughout the agencies involved in global health research and approve the 21st Century Global Health Technology Act, and seeks a stronger role for the US Food and Drug Administration in delivering new products for neglected diseases.
